Thanks for Tim and Jess for having me, showing me around, and Tim for cleaning my car haha.

I won a first place for standard pre 2000 watercooled, only trouble is that I didn't actually enter a car in that category.

They said the trophy was for my Bora which I'd entered in post 2000 (it's a 2002 model.)

Jodie had the Passat entered against her name in that class, we're hoping they just mixed up our entries as we went through judging together.

We're waiting on a re-count

Brilliant day out. Lots of nice people made it a great day out.

Heat made us leave at 1pm. Missed out on the cavalcade badge too! (Would very much like one)

Was a good day! Great weather. Some amazing cars that i would like to take home. That 80's audi quattro coupe was awesome! Nice to meet some new faces and have a chat to familar ones. I nearly got to take home a runners up in a beetle category! Lol! I did take home judges choice for standard which is very pleasing. A huge amount of organization would have gone into the day no doubt! Thanks to everyone involved etc, as these sorts of events don't just happen. Terrence I didn't get anything for the cavalcade. Bring on SEDF!!! Feb 6th isn't it??

Great day for me aswell, met alot of people and had some good discussions. Also enjoyed the cruise down to yarra glen which was a fun drive. We should have more events in the year ..

According to the club Newsletter,

All selected [cavalcade] entrants will receive a specially minted 35th anniversary of the golf car badge.

Wonder if it's the same one we got with entry.

I'm not going to loose any sleep over it, just curious.
