Love some more info on some of the Golfs there on the day.

I spot:

- Matt (Static1800) in his yellow Mk1
- Loon in the Rocco
- Guy H in his Mk6
- White Mk6
- The yellow 2 door with webbers (Was at Nats last year, I think its static's sister BF)
- Steve Muller's blue Mk1
- Another yellow Mk1 with ratmuller on the door
- Some crazy looking Mk2 with race signage
- And a black Mk3

Does anyone have any more pics or information about these cars?

The yellow mk1 with ratmuller is the track car that was for sale a couple of weeks back. I was actually less than a second behind it which I'm stoked about

Thanks for the nice comments guys. I have quite a bit more footage taken on the day. After I have cut together a video of the Nationals show day (in progress) , I'll get to putting a compile together for those that want to see more of race day.

can anyone do the supersprint or do you need a special licence or something to race at the track? i will have a new motor in my car next year so i hoping to take it to the sprint next year. thats why my engine hadnt had any love at the show n shine. its coming out in the next couple months

You need to be part of a cams club, so club vw who runs the show for example and you need a level 2S cams license which just requires you to fill out the form and pay $100 both of which will last you you 12 months before renewal. Nothing that special to compete really you just need a few things in your car which are all detailed on that link.
