rememeber FWD and RWD have dramatically different characteristics on the 1/4 mile (where's Tim when you need him to explain it all properly)
basically, MPH is more important (as an indicator of power) than the actual time for a FWD car. Think about it this way. you spent a long time on the track,. which means you were able to put more speed on (explains the 125 mph) maybe,.. I'm pretty sure that's how it goes. happy to be corrected
