    VW Club Vic - Concourse - Sun 30th May 2010


    VWCV Concourse
    Break out the polish rags and wipe the dust off the old classic. Its time again for the VWCV concourse. This event is open to all people to attend but only VWCV members are eligable to enter. This year we are off to the Moorabbin air Museum. Plenty of classic planes to see as well as some classic VWs.
    All VW's welcome
    Venue: Moorabbin Air museum, Moorabbin Airport. Start time at 9.00am and close about 3.00pm. Entries close for the show and shine at 11am sharp. No cost to VWCV members. Bring your membership card

      Air museum hosts some cool events from time to time.
      Went for a climb through their Beaufighter with a mate a while back. Man the guys who flew those things must have been nuts!

      Anyways this is just up the road from me will have to pop out and have a squiz

        Yep no worries at all open to all VWCV members. We have 2 watercoolers concourse classes, so shine her up and enter.

        Best Golf all years and best Watercooled all years.

                  How about a VWw cruise from around Tim's place...thinking say the Shell servo.in North Road Ormond (b/n the Railway line/Ormond Station and Booran Road. Ormond) as the meeting spot for a quick brappp south to Mooooorrrrabbbbbbbbinnnnn (sorry the Mrs..grew up and lived there......)

                        Hey guys, i happen to go there although there wasnt the great turnout i thought there would be?

                        It still nice to see some of the extremely well detailed beetles though. Unfortunate that my golf was the only one apart fromt he white cabrio. I guess

                        the weather had something to do with ppl not rocking up. I have some pics of the day, ill be sure to post 'em up a bit later.

                          There were 3 of us cruising there , me, Buller_Scott (Scott) and Neuspeed GTi (James) then Timand Golfman (Josh) joined down there later...with the wind etc.. we all pulled stumps by about 12pm...then I checked out the Shannons Auction for tomorrow night...

                            Thanks for coming along guys. Weather was a little wild today.

                            We picked up the chocolates for best water cooled in the better halfs Eos, so have a happy wife.

                            Look forward to seeing a few more watercoolers along next year.
