  • TAS Targa: Hellyer Gorge

This is where I was today...
It was spectacular! However, my husband had the camera and this is the only footage he got of the R32 (I was standing down further cheering like a lunatic).
Sorry it's not long, but enjoy. It just sounds so good!

Yeah there was some great racing going on. Went to the Cambridge stage, wasn't as good as I expected although I went to the casino where they present the medals and trophies and where you can walk around at look at all the cars.

Didn't get any photos of any VWs but here's a few I got of Jason White's Lamborghini Super Trofeo Strada:

      That thing sounds amazing...
I didn't get to the Silverdome this year and I'm not sure if they blocked off George St in Lonnie... If they did i missed it...
I just love Targa time, it's just great

Yeah Targa is awesome, but around 30,000 people were expected for that Cambridge stage and not even 1000 made it. Organisation was pretty poor and it just wasn't what it was cracked up to be. Especially when you have to stand behind tape which is about a kilometre away from the track. But yeah the Lambo had to be my fav, pretty stoked he won.
