Heathcote Park Drags

The Volkswagen Club Of Victoria is going to Heathcote dragway on June 9th. This is a closed VWCV event. Im not too sure if you have to be a member to enter but would still be good to come watch and catchup. It says on the advertisement that Competitor bookings are essential, Minimum number of cars required. It's $40 per competitor or $10 per spectator. Heathcote is soo laid back, i went there 2 months ago and ran my golf and all you have to have is a helmet, long sleeve shirt/jumper and a car that is in reasonable condition. I turned up late and the guy that was scrutineering took my word that the car was safe, didnt even look at it. The owner of the track let his 10 yr old son who could barely touch the pedals go down the track lol. You don't even need a quick car i ran a 17.5! so come on people lets make it happen.

Ive already run mine, but i dont think its worth running again untill i get a service done.

tempting but I'm so busy at the moment with uni exams not sure if I could make it. Might make the call on saturday morning.

I've spent the last 2 weeks staying back at work till 10:00 getting the motor built in my quattro for this, it's nearly ready to go, jus gotta hook up the ignition switch properly and a few other fiddly things.
