So people the track day is coming up it's on the 29th July which is a Sunday, so dont forget to put it in your diaries. I'm not going to bother getting numbers just come out if your keen. Will be good to see some VW out there food provided by BMW CC on the day.

BMW Car Club of Victoria Inc – Tasmanian Chapter has booked the Baskerville Raceway circuit for a track ‘practice’ day. The aim of the day is to allow Club members and friends to have full use of the track for the purpose of developing your driving skills in a controlled environment.
This is not a sanctioned BMW Car Club event, and as such each individual will be responsible for signing Motorsport Tasmania’s (MT) Indemnity Form, and payment of fees shall be direct to Motor Sport Tasmania Pty Ltd as if on an individual hire basis.
The day will not be a timed race event. You do not have to hold a CAMS license, but it will be mandatory to wear a helmet that meets current Australian Standards (AS 169. A compliant fire extinguisher mounted securely in the car is recommended, but not mandatory.
EVENT SUMMARY
Location: Baskerville Raceway
Date: Sunday 29th July 2007
Start Time: 10.00am for a 10.30am start.
Driver Briefing: 10.15pm (compulsory for all drivers)
Finish Time: 3.30pm approx.
Vehicles must be road registered and all drivers licensed.
Cost: $99.00 per driver paid in cash, or cheque on the day. Cheques to be made out to ‘Motorsport Tasmania Pty Ltd’. If your are a member of a Baskerville Shareholder Club (CMI, HSCC, Mini Car Club) then the fee is only $55.00.
A BBQ will be provided by the Club with a simple range of sausages and hamburgers, bread and cold drinks being available for a small charge. All other food and drink is the individual’s responsibility
All drivers and passengers must sign the Motorsport Tasmania Pty Ltd’s indemnity form on the day prior to driving on the circuit.
Maximum of five cars on the track at anyone time.
Track Access - No vehicles or persons are to cross the track while there are cars circulating. Please wait at the track side security gate until the track is clear and you will be told when it is safe to cross. Persons may enter the pit area via the footbridge only, while cars are circulating.
