Sydney Monthly Meet, 2nd Tuesday of every month

Out of curiosity, where are most Sydney members located? I am Northern Beaches. Reading through previous posts on GTG threads, I suspect most are West/South West...

Don't think so, last one was two months ago and only three of us showed up, and not all at the same time either. I suppose if someone wants to organise something, we'll make a thread for it. I'll take this off sticky.

Because with the amount of members that DO NOT TURN UP for some lame excuse of;

a) its to far
b) i dont like the food
c) im busy and cant plan 1 month every month or 2 ahead of myself because im an idiot
d) there is no "NSW" scene other than a small group of us who actually attend meets, gtgs, and more so, car shows itself. (even if just for support)

Its a sad truth unfortunately and thats how it rolls. VIC put a lot more effort together and catch up.

It isnt about how "modified" your car is, its a common interest.

Usually its us regs that turn up (ray, steve, courtney+seb, pedro, ray ray, dyl, manaz, mickey, missvuks and few otherS).. thats it.

My opinion it comes down to VWW as so many NSW members and so LITTLE turn up to the gtgs, meets, or events in general for some excuse. (which will follow the excuses after this post mind you)

Hence so many forums split now

I'm from the northern beaches too and have been a few times. Long drive for not much of a get together.
Only a few turn up and with people parked in different roads etc..it's hard to check out the cars.
Would be nicer to have a meet to see the dubs (because that's what it's about right?) and have a cruise, rather than a bite to eat and head home. I'de turn up more if it was worth the drive...

I dont think there is much enthusiasm for a monthly meet .
