As the "Southern" Cruises seem to be happening to much lately.

Meet Point: M4 McDonalds overflow car park (truck park area).

Time of meet: 10am for 1030 depart

Details: M4 through to Blue Mountains, taking the Megalong Valley turn off for some long twists. Being a no where road we will return up after a brief stop and catch up. Alternatively happy to continue through up towards Jenolan Caves and hit the Oberon Road to the backway to Bathurst which is a great nice smooth run.

Either of the two routes i don't mind, can be discussed on morning.

Good for a small or larger group.

Because he 'maybe' faster than other cars that will be attending and that the ferrari he drives can not be seen with out type of vehicles on our public roads. (im assuming here only, i could be wrong of course).

Or why not make a cruise on the same day and steal my option 1? .. Oh he did. lol

cause everyone thinks the VWW group are a bunch of losers that arent nice to others, so i dont want to be the only normal person there, or cop a whole heap of **** from u guys when im there.

I didnt steal ur option 1. If u look at the previous GTG thread u will see ppl asked me to create a drive, and if thats not good enough u can ask camerooney or benough, I had it all planned before u mate

Look to be quite honest I think this is all a bit childish. Leave the personalites out of it, as really there is no place for it.

What we see is a growth in VW owners looking to organise drives which leads to choice. You will always find there are different 'crews' that frequent different events and forums.

On the whole, the bigger people will man/lady up and use their intelligence to get to know who's who.

Good on the mkv forum, r32oc, vortex and vwgolf.net.au for providing places for these like minded individuals to congregate. I seem to stick with vww mainly due to the older model representation.

And let me add, the number of people that publically abuse vww and yet still remain users is laughable.

I hope you both have greats days out. Losers or not, no one needs to have any incidents on a drive together.

Have any of these "everyone" people you're talking of been along to one of our monthly get togethers, or been to any of the other events that have been organised, or is "everyone" a keyboard warrior intent on putting down everyone but themselves or their own crowd?

The only way to tell what we're like is to turn up and meet us. Yes, there will be some "clique" in the groups of people who know each other - exactly the same way as there would be if we turned up to an event you'd organised within another forum. In the end, we're all VW owners, and we all share a passion for our cars, and enjoy driving, so really, it shouldn't be *that* hard to get along!

its funny you say that, as a lot of people think the golfmkv peeps are a bit .... too but suprisingly a lot of nice ppl on there and im even on there, probably before you as well. fyi im orig a vwtexxer and a lot of them are on the golfmkv forum along with ozaudi and so fourth. not everyone gets along or have the same interests its a fact of life...

i post the cruise/gtgs on all forums to try combine everyone from all forums together instead of trying to be a "cool mk5 golf r32 owner" or a "cool vr6 golf owner" so can see but unfortunately ignorant people do exist..... at the end its still only a volkswagen not a porsche or ferrari lol.

im happy for a large or small group, i couldn't care less what type of vehicles attend as its for everyone to meet up and do what we all enjoy, drive our cars.

maybe you'll make the dyno day or maybe you'll be busy ..

I saw all you guys coming through Medlow Bath about 12.30 or so....I was going the other way in Silver MkV GTI.....nasty conditions!!! I came over from Bilpin and could barely see a thing in some areas.

There was what looked like a massive Commodore cruise just in front of you guys as well.
