Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • VIC EOI Euro Cruise Night

    Hi gang,

Been going through my head for a while now that here in Melbourne we have a strong European car scene but rarely we come together as one. On the weekend we had the biggest collection of VAG.

    Im thinking EuroCCA style.

    - Volkswagen
    - Audi
    - Seat/Skoda
    - Opel
    - BMW
    - Alfa Romeo
    - Fiat
    - Renault
    - Pugoet
    - Porsche
    - Mercedes Benz
    - Saab
    - Volvo

Had an idea of a big carpark one night during the week. Would be advertised on forums and word of mouth. Just chance to bring together all the Euro based cars from around Melbourne.

    Loved to hear your thoughts.

That would be epic! DEFINITELY worth trying to organise. Don't forget Lambo and Ferrari though...

This car park would be big enough...

Yeah I have the idea in my head for it to be similar to "No Rice" of course nat as big but just say it runs between 7:30pm and 10pm. People can come and go as they want.

People can chat, take photo's, exchange parts etc. No need for the wash, vaccum and polish but more just rock up.

I dont want it to be like "street wars" or anything, with Renualt vs Pugoet and VW vs Opel but just come together, "Hard park" and walk round.

Just like what the hot rodders due at their cruise nights.

                    Great idea. I'm in.
That cruise last year with the opel gang through the spurs was quite fun. Just a thought but would be good to do it before day light savings ends. (early april I believe)

Ok thinking end of March guys.

Glen Waverly shopping centre top car park has been suggested on a few forums.

Ill have to scope it out and see what things are like.

                          Cheers James
