Funny you should say that, opened up my drivers side door this morning to find cobwebs in all over the cabin!!

Enjoyed the chilled out crooze down to the brewery and had a pretty nice steak. The run back was a little dull by my standards but it was nice to get out of the city for a few hours, soak up some country air and give the dub a chance to stretch its legs.

Look forward to the next one fellas

Had a nice drive down and those beers weren't half bad
Had to leave a bit unceremoniously as Morgan and I were running late for things back in perth, (we were both only an hour late...). Good to meet most of you.

Uploading some pics to photobucket but that always seems to have problems for me.

Good to meet you mate and several other new people as well! Great turnout guys, thanks for making the effort. I counted about 10 watercoolers plus about 5 extras as well

I don't think we left too much later than you Luke, prob about 2:15 or so. Just as the last of them arrived due to a breakdown on the freeway...

I got caught in some slow traffic coming out of Harvey & you guys were too far ahead to catch up. Ended up stopping in Pinjarra for a few mins with matty and then just came back up the highway to Perth cos I had to get home as well.

Really enjoyed the drive down and lunch, points to the club for organising a good run. Let's hope they can keep it up.

Unfortunately I left my camera at home as well, so no pics from me...

                    Thanks

Thanks for your support guys. It turned out to be a good day .... when I eventually turned up. I did notice that there wasn't much left to drink though and I dont expect anyone to own up .... but there was a bit of food left.
But a lesson for us all ... check your fuel lines. That should go for water and air cooled. We nearly had a fire on the freeway but due to some sensible decisions the new paint job and car was saved. The non-member in the Kombi had a broken lead to the starter, so that was an RAC truck job, but with some borrowed tools (I'll now be keeping some basic tools in the car), the fuel line was re-attached.

                      and in no particular order:

switch to b&w was entirely unintentional... I put it down to the one handed camera fumbling

*mumbles something about being unable find the dimension you had both exploded off into*

I did see the parallel lines of fire on the road though, nice touch fellas

Nice pics Chris! Lol at the one where it looks like I was driving down the middle of the freeway haha, although if I remember that Landcriuser did start to give me the ****s after he kept cutting in between us and changing lanes etc. He got past eventually...I wasn't trying to cut him off, honestly~!
