Wow. Sounds like I really did miss out!

Wouldn't have made much difference though, as the car was being an absolute pain in the arse in the lead up to this event.

But a recently fitted proper boost controller has fixed the little mk1 right up. So hoping it will last long enough to get to a strip.

Some good MPH going on too!

Good to see a variety of waterpumpers incl. mk1's!

    Good stuff 76micro!

Amazing how strong the mk1 is when they are left virtually standard. As soon as you modify them, they seem to suffer (in my experience though)

Courtney & Sebs VR6 is still going strong too! I can't believe you drive this so far, to & from events.

Thats total trust in your equipment. I don't think I could do that (but then I'm also boosting a stock 250+k old engine! Its only a matter of time). Also with my past experiences with dragging a FWD it has always ended in tears!

87mph would be a very nice & rapid streeter 100%
    Another long distance traveller.

Just a stab in the dark mk1turbo79.

Your VR6 wouldn't happen to have been supercharged before it was turbo'd?

      Yes it was supercharged before.

87mph was my best time, but 91mph was my fastest trap speed.
