Looks like it was a good event by the pics

Good to see a bunch of the Vollkommen Art bugs & even a DeBrassi bug there too which all go like rape apes!!!

I'm pretty sure the type 3 is also turbo'd as well.

                    Look forward to the results

My best time was 9.562 @ 75.5mph although I did run as quick as 76.14mph.
In the finals i was up against a very nice Mk1 which ran 11.13, the turbo white vr6 which raced all weekend unfortunatly was having some issues and didnt make it into the finals but i think his best time for the weekend was about 8.8.
Seb wanted to go to a WW2 fighter museum in Adelaide first as he got invited to a guided tour, the car performed flawlessly with no issues after a round trip of 3200km.

Wow, what a weekend. I dove down Friday morning, raced in the Mrk 1 all weekend then came home Sunday night.

A buggered tyre and a melted fuse were the only problems for the weekend.

Still can’t believe that my paddock bomb was runner up!!

I’m sorry I have no pics as I decided not to take the camera as I was driving.

Thanks to everyone who went and made it a great event.

                            Cheers

It was a great weekend with a great turnout. 40 cars in total, 4 watercooled, 35 aircooled and 1 gogomobile. Now we just need to get more watercooled of next year.

My best time was 8.7@87mph, fighting wheelspin in 1st and 2nd. Broke 1 cv joint, had a misfire for acouple runs till i figured out what was causing it. Now i just need consistancy.
