Need to go on my first cruise with the R!

Whats the biggest number if cars in a watercooled cruise? can we go bigger!

You just missed the Christmas meet two weeks ago, and the cruise for Chris on Saturday night just gone (he actually wanted a mk4 R32 to be there).

There's a meet and greet evening at Austral VW on the 18th of January, but that's not really a real meet, more a publicity event for Austral.

There will probably then be a big proper cruise in late January/February.

Until then, buy lots of goodies for your car!!

In terms of numbers, biggest vw cruise was probably 40 odd cars. The one on Saturday had 100+ of all types.

Are there any cruise's happening in FEB or MARCH for QLD? It's like everyone is asleep on all forums and nothing happening at all ! Im new on here i'v got a Mk6 GTI and i'd love to meet up in a big group and have a mad cruise bbq photo shoot ect ect. I have been surfing on golfmkv and golfmk6 and know one is making up cruise's!!!

weve just had a small one a few weeks ago , with a cruise up here on the sunny coast. lotsa road twists and lotsa fun. im keen if someone wants to throw something together,

pick a date, a location and run with it. There's no hierachy in getting these things happening.

Could do a BBQ up the coast somewhere, caloundra or bribie, than a hinter land run back. I'm a fan of heading west where's it less crowded - depends if you want a drive, or cruise...

How about a trip up into the hills for some lunch at a cafe Maleny way? There is heaps of places to choose from up there and some nice roads to get you there.

A route i have done before is Nebo, Glorious, Round the Damn to Kilcoy, then out to Maleny, lunch and home over Mt Mee...

There are also some great roads out Advanced town, Canungra way if you want to go south.
