It was a good turn out for the Watercooled cars. Quite a few noteworthy cars IMO.

We had a W8 Passat, Scirocco GT, MK4 and 5 R32s, MK2 GTI, 2 MK3 VR6s, one was a colour concept.

Most of the watercooled cars except the VR6s and a couple of Beetles were single vehicles.

A good day was had by all I reckon.

Something about that Thing with eyelids makes it a little disturbing...

I helped out on the judging on most of the watercooleds, and I got a sense of just how clean the cars need to be to get a prize. Way more effort than I have the time or energy for.

Awesome effort to all involved & keep the pics coming.

I had to pull out of this event for three reasons.

1 = lack of fundage

2 = I have a dentist appointment tomorrow morning @ 9.30am

3 = The gearbox was making one hell of a noise which ended up self destructing today!






This has been one show that keeps eluding me, but "hopefully" next year.
