huge thanks to Seb (bug_racer) for organising the day, Todd from Mainline and Stan, Seph and Matt (and myself lol) for the BBQing and sorting out the cars all day!
also great to meet everyone who havent spoken to/met before too.
some insane cars went on as well, the top of the cake would be the a4 from Lucas GIAC tuned @ 370kw at 4 wheels!
Will upload pix tonight as soon as i get home (at work now sorry guys!)
Yeah, hat's off for the day. Just want to add to the above, and give a big hand to those who did the hard yards putting this together. A great day, and I also want to single out Todd, at Mainline, as a great dyno operator. Very helpful and willing to show some of the other data the runs collect, while still getting through cars at a good pace. Also, Stan, hope you get some sleep.
After seeing what Lukas' car pulled, I have even more respect for the little 1.8 donk
2015 White German SUV
2013 White German hatch
2011 Silver French hot hatch
2008 TR Golf GT TDI DSG
I got 115.4 or something first time, running VERY lean thanks to
the Oettinger Chip (argh). So changed to a 4bar FPR to increase the leaning and
then hit 121.8kw at the front wheels. Still however running lean and i think ill be taking my Oettinger chip out as well and
going GIAC too lol.
Mods: TIP, Exhaust/DP, N75j, GFB DV, CAI.
Happy with the result at the end of it, but still running to lean so there should be a bit more there at the end but unfortunately Oettinger chip not very useful at this point! Anyone wanna buy it? Good for someone who wants 115kw without anymods (chip only) lol
Fairly happy with my 125kw @ wheels.
Was hoping for a liitle bit more, but the dyno seems a little conservative compared to some others (ie - probably more accurate)
