Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    QLD Potential GTG - 10th December...

    Tomorrow night (10th) meet at 6pm at 100 Melbourne Street, South Brisbane. This is very central for everyone and was a great place to meet last time.

    This is on the corner of Cordelia/Melbourne/Merivale... basically right next to Convention Centre. There is parking att he back of the building or underground parking which is free with validation after eating.

    Plan is to have a Pizza at Oliver & Co and beer if you wish (pizzas are cheap $10) and talk crap etc... if people are keen to go for a drive then we can arrange while we eat but could easily do Harry's Diner or just park at under the wheel again and talk crap...

    Please confirm if you would like to attend..

    This is posted on the MKV website but very happy for other VW's to attend...

        I'm off to the xmas party ( this sunday right? ) but Byza is talking about a MKV gtg the week after.

        Anyway I'm keen to come along for dinner and a beer, would be great to see some of the Folk again and have a catchup. I've kinda been missing going for a drive

          Did you loose your license Isaw =p ?? How'd u manage that? I Thought you were fairly quiet around the streets?

                    The mkv crowd round here are quiet byza...


                    And yes, I'm enjoying my walking holiday. 1/3 of the way in now.... I'm always good on the streets, but just had a momentary lapse while going up mt cootha on a thursday night. camera hidden in the bushes, on a non-blackspot.

                    Yeah the police are making our roads safer thats for sure
