Thanks to Simon & the Austral Guys for a great evening.
Certainly worth the drive, & I'll be up for any future gatherings.

Yesterday was my first day of holidays and I completely forgot it was Monday!
Luckily I spent the day out on the boat fishing so it wasn't a total loss.

Thanks to all for coming, it seems like everyone enjoyed it... Thanks to Mark and his team at Austral too for putting on a good evening. Good food and some beer, lots of giveaways, and test drives a-plenty. I even got roped in for a couple as he had all his staff out with people on test drives already, so I got a run around in a manual Golf GTI and a MkV R32 DSG... oh that sound...

Next one is planned for the Golf R20 launch.

It was an enjoyable night and no pressure from the guys to buy anything.
Just a business card after the test drives.

Maybe a bit more organisation for next time however it was an open night (not just VWWC) so a list of names and test vehicles and a vwwc banner/sign might make it easier to get everyone in the right place.

Sorry I didn't end up making it to this one. Only flew back in that morning from the UK and I managed to make it until about 4:30pm and then crashed. I think my body clock is now somewhere in Australia though...
