Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

We had a great day, awsome cars, and was great to catch up with everyone. Now my sons asking when can we do it again. Also a big thank you to all of those who helped organised this annual event, and hope to run it again next year. Cheers Van & Ryan

                    Yes had a great day

My favourite part was the reefton spur. I dont think I have ever had that much fun, the road was amazing and it was a good pace we were setting

Look forward to doing it next year with a new suspension setup

and not a Passat to be seen?? not even an R36?

I couldn't get there, one very sick daughter at the moment.

No passats today unfortunately no. Last cruise I had a mirror full of an R36 for most of the way! Was very menacing. I dont think anyone can blame you for putting family first. Hope all is well.

Today was also a bit of a changing of the guard in a few respects. We only had 1 x mk1 and 1 x mk3. Mostly all newer models and some awesome Renaults!
