Hi All,
I just wanted to let you know that I'm organising the annual show-up of Dubs at the Oktoberfest again this year which is held at the Hubertus Country Club on the Sunday of the October long weekend. (205 Adams Rd Luddenham). Gates open at about 10:00. Keep an eye out for a VW Parking sign to the premium parking. We will be positioned on the side of the club overlooking the dam on the concrete patch. Watch out for the VW parking signs and also the Club VW banner. If you want your car judged you will need to register and be at the cars at 1pm for the judging. If all goes well, the judging will be done by the Hubertus Country Club Manager Dolf and the trophies were also sponsored by the Hubertus Country Club. If you can't find me in the club, please grab my phone number from the sign in the window of the Grey Golf GT and give me a call.
Entry is $2 per adult and for those who want to stay the weekend, there is plenty of room to set up a camper (or tent) with power and toilet facilities if you want to get into the German beer early. (They have local as well).
I've been the last few years and it's been a great family atmosphere
with rides for the kids. The tent is set up on the side of the club like last year and it's bigger and better than ever, so if it rains, you don't get wet!
