NSW Track day 5th Oct Wakefield - CC day

Hi Guys,

Theres a track day being organised on the 5th Oct at Wakefield park raceway. They have Natsoft timing and it's generally a good mix of cars.

I'll be taking the MKI down for another bash hopefully this time everything goes 'smoothly'.

Date: Monday 5 October 2009

Venue: Wakefield Park

Price: $190 per driver, $65 for secondary drivers, $25 for passengers, $20 for EPCC entry (you get a gopro camera footage, photos and draw to win sponsor prizes). A $5 refundable magnet fee is charged at time of payment.

Maximum 55 drivers, official natsoft timing & driver training included in price.

Spectators are free and welcome!

anybody going to this one . i think iwill be there for sure after having a great day at oranpark i would like to have ago at this track and this will be my second track day slowly get hooked . at oranpark my best time was 1.347 with my stocky bora is this an ok time for a beginner or for the stock bora any comments , i will try to put abit of video on the tube

i called her after reading you post and she said it should be ok, i have to wait till she gets home before she can tell me if she recieved my entry form or not ,but either way contacts been made so should get in hopefully

I would be keen but after my last outting and payibng off the repairs (bent rim and new tyre) might be 2010 before i'm on the track again.

Lost concentration for 1 second and was going a bit too fast over the top of the hill. Went wide on the right hander down from the highest point in the track. Either 5 or 6. There is an exit road on the left there and all the dirt had washed away between it and the trackl so was pretty much like hitting a gutter at 80kmh. Was pretty annoyed as it was the only time i had a tyre off the track all day.

pretty kool to see where the MKI ended up considering what was there..........very cool track temp day and track was quite dirty from wkends rainy sessions with the Cobra club.
