QLD VW Meet - Wynnum Esplanade - This Sunday??

Hello,

I had a flyer (which I've lost) put on my windscreen adverting an annual meeting of VW's this sunday in Wynnum/Manly (Brisbane). Advertising $10 per car to enter a competition or $30 for a trade stand. Does anyone know anything more about this event? Has anyone attended one in the past....the organisers claim it's the 9th or 19th year of running the show?

Anyone shed any light....

OK I have the lowdown

The volkswagon drivers club of QLD will be holding their 23rd annual VW action day at Bandstand park on the Esplenade, Wynnum on sunday 13th September. Easy to find

they have

Show and Shine
Swap meet
Trade stalls
Tappet cover racing
Food

The show opens at 7am CAR show and swap meet is $10, trade stalls is $30.

If your a car show entrant you need to be in place by 9a.30am.

I went to this last year and a few people from this site were there I think. It was a fun day with lots of nice watercoolers.
