    Unorganised? pfff!

    People,

    What is the problem here?

PoloGTi (Rob) has made it clear in previous posts that VW enthusiasts interested in participating in the drive are to meet on the ‘top level carpark’ at Wrest Point Hotel Casino (Hobart). When? 13th December at 5.30pm for a 6.00pm departure.

^ As I see it time/school girl traffic should not be a problem (note the times):

    Speech Nights

Wednesday 13 December is the Senior School Speech Night it starts at 7:45 pm, it is being held at Wrest Point.
All students are to arrive in full school uniform by 7:15 pm.

…we might even be able to attempt our own “VW” symbol:

In reality I would be happy for just the “\ ” part.

Come on you lot, confirm that you will be there and make sure you show up. Its so painful organizing these meets and people not bothering to show up.

Hope it goes well for you guys.

Hey, I found time for some surfing

Yeah I'll be there - got the good oil from gtimk5 this morning.
I'll see you there - I've had my lap around the channel already.
Yes I wish I had the GTI - the mit$%&% 380 handles like a bowl of custurd,
especially with four others in the car

What the heck - you seem to be a short on numbers so, I may as well front up at Wrest Point, if you don't mind me lowering the tone of the evening in the Mitsu.. Might be short on handling, but a bit of a hoot in a straight line

Besides, I get the see the Golfs in the daylight

I will probably be in Launceston swapping my wheels this saturday so it would be good to catch up with 86gti and Brackie. Will PM on that one.
yea...change it and all of you get ya backsides up north! lol ....

Hey guys! Thanks for the great company tonight. Was good to have the active, friendly members turn up including blackgti1.8 and son Chris representing NSW!!! Nice meal, good chat and pleasant sitting at the table out the front of the Cygnet pub watching HR station wagons breaking down. What a laugh! Great driving roads, what else can I say??? Better than sitting at home, thats definately for sure!
                    Cheers blokes!!!
