              there are a few people planning on coming from interstate, and a few road trips because of that no doubt.

              there will be various events the day before (sat), which'll be organised close to the actual date.

                          Day of the VW 2009 - VW Club of Victoria

                          Thanks to Maris for putting this initial detail up.

                          Bit more info for you all.

                          Its on again Victorias largest VW show
                          Date - Sunday the 15th November 2009

                          Venue: Cranbourne Racecource, Cranbourne.


                          Show 'n' Shine, Trade displays, Motorsport, Swap meet.
                          Also free actvities for the kids this year.
                          This year we are celebrating 60 years of the Volkswagen Kombi. The prototype was released in Nov 1949. We endevour to have an example of a Kombi from every year from 49 to 09 in a line up. If you have a 49 or 50 lying about we would love to hear from you.

                          Show and Shine Entry - $20.00 includes entry for driver and passenger.
                          Walk in entry $5.00
                          Swap Sites - $40.00 (includes entry for 2 also)

                                I think ive been to the last 5. I see no reason to break the trend. And as above. Ill definately be wearing a hat this year. Worst sunburn last year! My face ended up all puffy!
