ok guys, ive put my hand up for the watercooled section at DOVW

as you all know im all in for supporting the watercooled community so dont give me **** for this bit of info, take it in and work onnit,

from history's information, the papers say that their isnt enough watercooled cars entered at DOVW to have their own categories

how many polo's were there last year? 2!
how many awards are given out in each category? 2!

how many boras and jettas were there last year, 2 maybee 3?
how many awards are given out in each category? 2!

can you see were im coming from?

also the modified golf category
we cant break up the categories because well only have like 3 or 4 models in each modified golf category, so untill we can get HUGE numbers, itll stay just generic MODIFIED GOLF all years.....

the systems tuff but there really isnt any other way untill we see numbers over 100 entries of WC cars.......

on that note, we are doing not too bad this year with HALF the pre entries going to WATERCOOLED CARS!!!

I'll put my hand up and say I will colunteer for a judging position!
I'm more than happy to wake up early and judge all the cars, I will be fair as I don't think I am going to bring the mk1 down and even if I do I just won't enter it. Let me know Dom!

Sorry, mine wasn't ment to sound like a whinge.
Think 4 boras, don't know how many jettas, but yes, you have a good point.
Cant imagine boras/polos being judged against something like a R36 or Passat CC though, completely different, newer undamaged cars etc. Either way, maybe next yr

Pre-entered 2 cars yesterday, The Bora and my white MK1.

I'll register a third in a week or so, depending on how we go it'll be the Passat or our red MK1 if the Passat's not ready enough.
