Did I miss something here boys? Only ones I saw were on the Mt Lindsay up near the Logan.. Sneaky pricks had a station set up on the onramp, too!

I did see some cops on the highway, but i though they were doing speed checks, and at that time I was moving with the traffic, so nothing to worry about.

Did something else happen?

Yeah the radar trap and also RBT/Vehicle inspection station (on Beaudesert Road just after you go after the Logan Motorway). Nothing happened with us as far as I know.

hi guys, yup was a top day out for a good drive and meeting some more members. Thoroughly enjoyable.

so where is there a better drive in south east queensland?

Still amused about the 5th wheeler caravan coming from nowhere.

The only other drive I enjoy is M'bar to springbrook to lower beechmont, but it doesnt have the corners that Mt Lindsey has. Climbing tambo is good with no traffic tho

A good drive, I'd advise going down to Casino, Northern NSW, then accross to Tenterfield, back through to Warwick and back to Brisbane. Takes all day, but its worth it. Lots and lots of twisties, good fun.

Otherwise the road between Glen Innes and the coast is a fantastic run, I did it on my motorbike, but i wish i had the car with a heater!

Mt Glorious is a commonly known good run, or else going up to Nambour, up through Montville, down to Maleny, Kennilworth, back down that way, or else take the road to Woodford, get to just outside woodford, turn Right at the big intersection, head towards Kilkoy, Go through Kilkoy and then head the back way up mt glorious and over the mountain to finish. Beautiful run. well worth doing

Went around the Mt Lindsay?? What are you going on about?? LOL if it wasn't for me and my Garmin you'd still be driving around Springwood!

The Tom Tom was essentially going the same way as your Garmin, except for a few minor glitches (probably due to the user - i.e. me, because I have Navman lol). Although it actually wanted to turn where the signs said "To Beaudesert"

And Tim actually quite likes the TDI, despite all the tractor jokes. Take him for a spin once it's chipped - that'll sort him out
