I'm in. I turn 40 on the wednesday before this, so it can be a "now I'm officially on old fart" drive for me. Need some hats for my parcel shelf, a sun visor and towing mirrors.

As per already discussed on the previous page, it's a bit rough depending on speed and suspension - but not the goat track it once was. If you're not running coilovers, you'll find it to be fine. It's not a race so drive at the speed you are comfortable and you'll get through unscarred and unjolted.Track Car: 06 Polo GTI Red Devil mkII
Daily: 2010 VW Jetta Highline
Gone but not forgotten: 08 Polo GTI

Suffice to say I'll most likely be taking it pretty carefully.

Funny thing about it, is that he thought it was a slow old vw when he first got into it, he now has a differnet opinion about it

ok. 1'st weekend of July, I have a wedding on one of the days, so will propose the other.. NFI which day it's planned for, can't remember. Once I remember which day I'm free I'll update the first post.
PS Coxy. don't lose ya license in that weekI like the country roads as there is minimal traffic, plus these roads have quite silly high speed limits (like 80 and 100km/h) on them which you don't need to do to enjoy yourself and be safe.

I'd assume this road has been affected by the current floods / weather?? Landslides / extra potholes??
I was keen to go for a scout this weekend, but if it's going to be flooded / hammered.....2014 Skoda Yeti TDI Outdoor 4x4 | Audi Q3 CFGC repower | Darkside tune and Race Cams | Darkside dump pDPF | Wagner Comp IC | Snow Water Meth | Bilstein B6 H&R springs | Rays Homura 2x7 18 x 8" 255 Potenza Sports | Golf R subframe | Superpro sways and bushings | 034 engine mounts | MK6 GTI brakes |

With my ride height I was hoping to check it out at a most likely much slower pace so I can be sure that I will do minimal damage. But yeah for at least part of the road will have taken a beating.
