I'm going, I'll bring my own beer, and I'll have a drink or 2, and if I have too many, I will have my swag in the boot to sleep in.

I agree with Andrew there, from another outsiders point of view i think that is a very sad state of affairs that a fun GTG should be tarred with all of this negativity.

IF someone brings alcohol he has no control of it obviously.

what someone may or may not do might be out of his view/control so whatever happens on the day will be of course done in consideration from whoever may be or not may be drinking tho..

i think the idea was GTG @ the shop, followed by relaxed drinks possibly @ a local later on after hours.

which is basically same lines we intend on doing, gtg @ car care shop then off to dinner later on in the night for a relax time to whinge about how sore everyones arms are from cleaning/polishing..

Then after all work has ceased some beers for those that want, some more chat and then off to the pub if people want and dont have to drive.

For you interstaters, its at Campbelltown. You can get a train from downstairs in the airport, straight to Campbelltown station which is 1min walk from the shop.
