As always good to see APR out at these events too, all the best with that beasty s3 in sydney Guy and James.

will be looking forward to another bud meet up soon

No worries Steven. I'll be interested to hear if you get it sorted out.

I really enjoyed gassing with everyone. Looking forward to next year already!!

Was a great day. Lots of interesting/crazy dubs there and a pretty decent Watercooled turnout as well.
      185.2HP for me.
      Cheers,
      Trent

My car pulled 174.4, mkv gti with just a Bluefin. there was a mk2 gti with a G60 s/c that put down 180, was impressive considerng the linear power curve

Great to catch up with everyone there. Perhaps next year we will have some more watercooled vw there.
Bit disappointed with my numbers (171.4) but oh well. Next year it will be sorted.
            Here is me dyno sheet!

cheers mate, you should be on par with what chris ran, stg2+ and all, if not a few hp more. after going down the block i really see what difference the downpipe makes and will be saving some pennies to get one.

Best Dyno sheet of the day and who said bluefins run lean in the top end?

Dyno Mania 2009 presented by Das Resto Haus in conjunction with Dak A Tak racing drag night has been run and done with great weather and great numbers of spectators and comeptitors all turning up for a day of fun, catching up with VW mates and meeting some new ones.

Big thank you to Leon's motors for hosting the dyno day. andrew, Leon, Quintin and Peter all did a great job getting the cars on and off the dyno and kept everyone entertained thoroughout the day with the noise of screaming VW's of all shapes and sizes.

I must thank Peter Page for his help with running this event because it is simply impossible to run an event like this single handed. I haven't had the spare time I used to with a job change so Pete had to do a lil more so I thanks mate for all your efforts!! Hence we must also thank our wives for their help with organising artwork, advertising material and general computer skills that Pete and I lack a bit of!! I must also thank Jen and Lisa for keeping everyone happy with food and drinks on the day as well. Also thank you to Lisa's Mum and Breanna and Christina for their help too!!

Last but not least to Das Resto Haus as major sponsor for the 2nd year and to all our other sponsors we appreciate your support immensly and look forward to 2010!!

Unfortunately the test and tune at Willowbank was very bust with over 350 cars running so it was a very long wait between runs so most opted for one run and go home. Aaron Roberts broke a CV after a great burnout and failed to see the 60 foot mark( his Dad was playing mind games in the other lane LOL) Troy Alder got the Fastback down the track without incident or breakage much to his relief so now it is off to the dyno again to get the car tuned and wind up the boost. Stanley also had his first run with new engine since putting an inspection window in the last one!! Everyone else had a good time and track conditions were good and temps were certainly favourable for good times. Hopefully next year we willl see some more cars running and a few of the watercooled guys are keen to come out as well.
