Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    SA Monthly Midweek Meetup

    Hey guys,

    I think it's time to make a monthly meetup for drinks and a good chat. We have done it a few times before and has been a good laugh.

    Last Thursday of every month, 7pm at The Bar on Gouger (Gouger St, City) or The Crown and Sceptre (King William St, City)

    Will be nice to get along a few more members from here, plus will also post it on ECCA as they come along regularly, and maybe some of the MK5 guys? Anyone is welcome in the end, so the more the merrier, but good to put some names to faces from on here and chat about these automobiles we all love (and hate)!

    Nextmeetup will be Thursday 30th April, hope to see some of you there

    Tentative Yes at this stage - will confirm for sure next week. Depends on work committments but looks ok.

              Alrighty guys, almost time for another catch up and some beers.

              Next Thursday (30th April) will be a meetup at The Crown and Sceptre, 308 King William Street in the City, just by Trims and Victoria Square



              7:00pm onwards

                how long do you guys usually stay there for?

                i only ask as i work till 9:00pm every second thursday, and next week is one of those weeks...

                if you all are still there ill definitley pop past after work...

                see what happens
