he did say breakfast at the spit, i've never seen a cop up there earlier than midday on the weekends. anyway, your car would be the least of the cops worries. they're just not interested in euro's.
Was thinking we should organise something for about mid March or so. Maybe a trip up Mount Tambo for Lunch or Breakfast at the the Spit.
Anyone got any ideas?

I'm in...I love the springbrook/tambo drive. I have a very nice route if you like. Hinze dam is still closed, so that's out, but there are enough cafe's etc up on the mountain to feed us.
sorry to rain on this already but tambo cruises are done done done and are starting to blend in with one another what about the glass house mountains? dno, just something different thats all . . . .
lol, there are 4 Gold Coasters here who are keen for a cruise a bit closer to home for a change (we're always going to brissy for meets), and 1 Brisbanite wants a cruise an hour north of Brisbane... I wouldn't take part in that, but I'm sure all the Brissy guys would be keen, maybe start your own thread?

As for Tambo cruises being done done done, i've been on this site for a bit over a year and no one has ever mentioned a Tambo cruise . Even if other clubs are out there driving, who cares, we're not mountain racing.... it's a cruise!

aww, nownow, no need to get all those knickers in a knot! was mearly a suggestion my bad, isnt that why a thread is started, to discuss? its just that we've done the breakfast at the spit and also the tambo run?? isnt there anything alse down there? i dont mind driving one bit and i favour the gold coast as apose to the north but it was mearly an attempt to mix it up . . . . .

That's the good thing about living on the Southside, you're nice and close to the GC and you can get to the City and Sunshine Coast relatively quickly as well. You live near me Alex so quit your whinging.

there not much else to do on the gold coast but
unless, there is the road heading out to warwick way from oxenford but i think the roads is of bad quality if i remeber rightly but its still an idea

trent doooood, im not whinging just suggesting . . . . What about right down to Rainbow Bay? theres a really nice BBQ spot right at the end down the bottom?? have a swim or tann, nice spot for beach pics maybe and from memory theres plenty of parks??
