QLD Need help organising the Nationals logistics?

Hey guys

Do you need any help organising the logistics of the trip down to Sydney in May? i.e. meeting spots, accommodation, times, routes etc...

I'm an ex VW Club committee member and conference co-ordinator, and have organised many such things, so if you need my help with drawing up a plan and organising things.. I'd be glad to assist. Heck, it might bring back some pleasant memories.

I don't really see any great need to go 'all official' with this suggestion ... and I think Sandy's offer would be greatly appreciated by those going down from Q'land.

Do we know more or less where everyone is going to be staying (area, I mean), so I can look at some options.

Push comes to shove, I have an 8 sleeper tent.... but dunno if I want to use it in Sydney in winter.... brrrr.

Maybe if you guys want to let me know who's all going, and I can start organising some ideas, and then we can take it from there??

The nationals is held in Fairfield roughly southwest of sydney.

I've done a bit of research, and found sooooooo many places we could stay around that area.

Does anyone have a specific budget in mind, and will it be Fri, Sat and Sun nights?

Does anyone want to go camping??

Hotel or self-catering?

Any idea of how many of us will be going? If you could stick your hands up, I can do some further research and get back with some solid ideas, and we can take it from there.
