Been thinking. How about we have a video night soon. We find a hotel somewhere with ba big screen that they will let us use.
I have the english Tim Styles (ex TSR Performance) GTI magic video, covers all aspects of the Mk1/2 golf GTIs.
Also I have some incar footage of doing Rally Tasmania and racing (Octagon 400). The incar worked out excellent, even when Ben lost his notes in Hellyer Gorge in the rally. The twin cam sounds awesome and Bens notes came out clearly. Gives you an idea of what to expect in a sealed rally. Even the tacho is visible as is the pole on one corner!!!!
Might work out to be a nice social night. If anyone is interested please express that here and we can organise it. Andrew

Also, thanks to Golfworx I have a DVD with heaps of VW stuff on it including the group B Audis and Pikes Peak.

I wish I could put more on a CD as I've got over 8GB of vid's. Over 1.5GB of that is VW vids!

He's a mad Audi quattro & group B fan which got me into them as well.
Him & my brother met Walter Rohrl when he came out here for a Porsche function & got his signature in a limited edition book. Can't remember what book it was. Very polite bloke even with the translation problem's

Walter Rorhl ran in targe a couple of times in a Porsche museum 930. The first time here he didn']t realise it was an actual serious competition to start with He had a fair bit to drink over the week!v The following year he was on the case and drove the wheels off the thing. Looked very quick and was a great bloke. Very friendly Another Legend!
