  • VIC Welcome back Summer Cruise (VIC)

    Alrighty folks.

Cruising (and BBQ) season is upon is, so to welcome the warmer weather we'll be having our annual Maroondah Dam cruise as our first offical social summer event!

    When: Sunday, December 7

    Time: 10am for a 10:30am departure!

Place: Meet at Albert Park (usual meeting point) to drive second Meet point* then onto Maroondah Dam.

What: BBQ lunch, driving in the hills, and hanging out with VWW friends! Wash your car just incase someone takes some photos too!

Bring: Full tank of petrol, camera, females (fingers crossed), other friends, UHF radio (if you've got one), food.**

Food: BYO Meat! I will be bringing bread for snags, Ben's bringing sauce, and it would be nice if a few people bring chips, soft drink, snacks etc to share around. There is a Supermarket just near Maroondah Dam, in Healsville, should anyone forget to buy meat, or don't want to bring an esky along etc.

*Second Meet Point:* The second meet point is at the home maker centre off Maroondah Hwy, just past Springvale Rd. Turn right at the lights and head into the carpark, taking another right towards JB HIFI and the Good Guys. The link shows where people should meet. Be ready to leave at 11am SHARP from this meet point. So get there earlier! The link:

Make sure you keep December 7th free, and come along for a laugh!

Ive extended an invite to the guys over at golkmk5.com. If you can think of anyone else that may be interested in joining in feel free. The more the merrier I think. The carpark at the dam is massive so why not.

                        on the contrary!
In melb we have our fair share of mk1s 2s 3s and 5s. It seems to be the mk4s that are usually missing in action
