  • WA (WA) HIlls are alive with the sound of VW's

    I was just throwing interest out there for a run through the hills on 2/11 its a sunday. the route will include Mundaring, kalamunda, Roleystone and up to Dwellingup. I'm thinking lunch in Kalamunda. Meeting point will be the car park at the end of mill point rd at 10am, will post a map soon.

    Hope to hear from ya

          yea , sounds like a good drive will have some new tread on my vr and will bring another vr i just put on the road too ..........

                hmmm, that classic rally looks awfully enticing - ive seen quite a few and theyre always very entertaining

                    the roads wont be that busy either due to the air race aswell

                        Hrm, had a good drive last year when it was on...

                        Although I wouldn't mind getting some shots with the new cam of the air race... what to do?

                          You'll need a mighty long lens to get anything decent. I tried last year with my 70-200 and got 99% crap. Sure is a great thing to watch tho!

                              Hmmm I had been planning on walking down to the river to watch the air race too...it's only a few mins walk for me.
