Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

The roads can be a bit boring.
There was a white Vic registered Polo GTI.

        Bug-In Show & Shine

Here's a few shots from the show & Shine; Estimates for S & S entries ranged from 105 to 120. Great setting and great weather. Apparently was much visited by general Bendigo Festival patrons.

        More here; http://s184.photobucket.com/albums/x...Bug-In%202009/

Didn't get any from the Motorsport unfortunately. Too busy flogging my old 924. If any-one has some I'd love to see.

                Show Day.

                Chris' (Bendigo Club) GT Sport.

Not the normal VW badge. The sensor for the adaptive cruise control is located behind the badge, hense it has no cut outs in the logo.

My FAVOURITE by a long way. I'm not sure it was "entered" but it looked beautiful.

Pretty shattered I totally missed this and could have had my car on show (hehe). Apologies. Obviously the meets aren't something I pay much attention to. I was on night shift so would have been delirious as well. Good to see those dedicated..from WA and QLD.... holly moley!

No catergories for judging???? What the????? That is seriously the funniest thing that I have ever heard!!!!!!

I should seriously have not spend so much time trying to clean those damn R line wheels on the Polo GTI!!!!

I have to say though that I was really dissapointed with this years Bug In. The turn out seemed to be lacking this year? It was also a shame that none of the activities were family friendly. I know that we were not the only ones with young kids who attended

Oh well, got to give my NB Cabrio a good run and the weather was just right for a bit of topless cruising
