From what I gather from the WSID website, you do need a helmet, and for the $50 entry fee, you get two runs. Oh, and don't post a quarter time of less that 11.99 sec as then you will be required to hold an ANDRA licence!

I wouldn't mind seeing what the VR has stock; that is if the gearbox and second gear hold up. The on;y problem is the helmet. Do you reckon a bike stackhat will do?!

You get alot more then two runs. Last time I went, I squeezed 6 runs out of the night before going home early. The time before that even more...
