        I bought them!!!!! The GTI WILL be saved! It Goes into the shop after the swallowtail has been straightened out then will go in the shed to be repaired, it's second in the queue as the swallowtail is a lovely car and won't take much to get back on the road.
        I'll be starting build threads for all 3 cars when the time is right.

              Yeah, cause I've been scanning Every classified site for about 12 months now, missed out on a few, but these 3 are an awesome find.
              I was on the phone to him Sunday night and met him Monday after work, He's a great guy, and was more concerned about them going to a good home than the money! The GTI looks to have had a hard life but is complete, and not as rusty as he made out, so will repair up no worries.

                  Ooh okay. Happy you got them! If I had the space I would of been there in a heart beat to grab them. I also spoke to him on Sunday night. I knew I had no room so I thought I should post it here.

                  That's awesome man. Good buy. Would love to see these one day! Oh and if you decide to strip one and got a full set of 3 dr seals, my swallowtail will thank you hahahah.
