Something odd about that car, I suspect it would have started life with a petrol engine.
It's got LS badges.
We didn't really get diesels until about '79.
The dash has two clocks, one in the binnacle where a GLD would have on in place of the tacho and another in the console where a petrol Golf would have one.
Plastic bumpers don't belong on a '76.
Not that I'm saying anything bad about it, it's just another quirky MK1 with an interesting history.
