This car was owned by a forum member in Canberra (Steve ??? can't remember his last name), he is also an active vwvortex member, but he disappeared from VW community for quite some times. This was well known as one of the best Mk2 in Australia, the engine was blue printed, very fast. I'd be interested to see how is its condition now.

Type 19 refer to early Mk2 with quarter front light window, small bumper, CE1 electric etc, etc. 1987 is cut over year. >87 is type 1G.
Normally people don't care they are all cool Mk2.
