Based on the interior and the lack of simple things(buttons, armrest?!?!) which even came standard on most mk5's in Aus, I'd suggest it be the lower specced 1.9. Will be the lower bhp/kW tdi the higher gt has the red I on the badge and the gt sport has the same front bar and rear as the gti just a different style grill

Just re read it haha aus should have 3 door golfs as I own a gti mk5 3 door not very common tho I think they look loads better then the 5 door so waited till I found a 3 door gti not seen many non gti in 3 door tho so I would guess its imported could well be from uk if you could get the vin you'd be able to check the info of the car
