Id say it is actually 1 of 9. 100 colour concepts did not actually end up in Australia due to lack of sales.

Not that it really matters but no way there is only 9, I've seen at least 9 and driven 2. Pretty sure there were 100, 20 red, 20 blue, 20 black, 20 green, 20 yellow.

... I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure. They were slow to sell but did eventually, some of the red one's got their seats re painted so the inserts were black. There was a shipment in '96 that got held up and the cars weren't delivered until into '97, but all Aus ccs are 1995 despite some ads claiming 96. Pedantic... but hey this is a vw forum.

He's in no rush had that VE Calais then his work Hilux, but it's back to his daily driver (except a spare Camry) until moving O/s so is either going to sell it or just ditch rego and tuck it under his folks house for a few years, he had a Mk2 GTI under there for about 18 months. Never formally advertised for sale.

I just want to see it in VWW friendly hands. Needs a tidy but could be good.
