What's wrong with listing it with other common search names? Are you anti japanese cars tonymy01? Or do you think that VW is way above those japanese cars to even be mentioned?

I owned a WRX for 12 years and still miss that lovely engine tone, so no,I am not anti Japanese. But to put that gaff in the subject of an R32 Golf is wrong. Put in the body "an alternative to blah" or something, putting false keywords in the subject is cheating the system in my opinion.
How is this anything to do with the car he is selling "vw mk4 golf r32, cams, extractors, cold air, suit gti, golf r,turbo,wrx,200sx,a3 r36" in the subject of his advert! Yes, there is a suit there, completely missed it in the sea of commas.

Keyword spamming is another pet hate of mine. Don't put what it isn't in the title.

just for those playing at home,

the guy got $7k for it,

I saw it on monday, done 190k km however it was extremely tidy. body and paint were very straight, interior was tidy, leather was good. has alot of new parts suspension/ clutch/ exhaust. I made a strong offer but someone offered a bit more that night and without getting back to me he sold it. ( I would have beat his offer).

Even at $7k it was an absolute steal! some bastard got lucky.

the engine issue is unknown, the mechanic said he wasn't getting paid to diagnose the problem so he didn't. there was no coolant in the oil. no coolant at all for that matter, it might have been a burst hose for all I know.

I wouldnt be surprised if the guy who bought it doesn't get it running again and sell it for $15k....still had rego till march!

Nice one, thanks for the update!

Let's hope to see it up on these forums soon, and get the whole story! Hopefully back to its former glory too!

After mentally going through the pros and cons of this one, I think I'm keen to seriously look at the next broken blue one that pops up, and I have a bit if time in my hands and now offered somewhere to store it..

Let me know if you see a broken blue one people! I already have been told of an engine I can buy to put in it..

                Who cares?

Cheating the system? It's ebay. Their insistence on Paypal and the general useless nature of the product is a far bigger issue than someone selling an R32 with some other keywords in it.

An R will never be an R32 though.

The trolls are loose out the woodwork. I bought a VW because of the R32. It got my interest about what to get next...
