15k isnt that cheap for a MK4 R32.
It appears that the market doesnt really care about how rare they are. I was shocked when I was looking at the redbook values the other day.

Redbook often Grossly under/over values cars. On Carsales Mk4 R32's go for more than $15k!

Also in regards to the VR6 mk4 v R32, R32 hands down every time

There have been several change hands in Brisbane in the past 6 months for less than 15k. A reasonably nice blue one changed hands a couple of months ago for $11,900.

The guy says the service history is up to date and is due in 1500klm ......and no mechanical issues with it .

Im tempt to move to a mk4 r32 over a mk5

Strange to see it as a write-off from water damage with no mechanical damage...
If there is no mechanical damage from the water then someone should call some vehicle restorers and VW Dealers to look at costs of repair for interior and everything
