if you know ED their is absolutely no reason why he should not be back on the forum cant believe Admin edited my post...
Ed was banned for no good reason, but its been long enough, a guy like him brings the scene together and has done more for the vw scene than
is given him credit. its because He is truly passionate about modifying cars that their is this mk1 GTI, This Gti has done alot to inspire
Australian builds as has Ed behind the scenes...so someone who has done that kind of thing should be properly respected.

A big credit to Ed for building such a great car. You've just sold your white mk1 ? Well maybe you should buy this one then.
Could not agree more with you Ben, Ed is a legend and has so much to offer this scene. This car is a testament to his work..
Good luck with the sale, I only wish I had a garage big enough for another GTi
Its the last 24 hours of bidding on Ebay.
The Golf is a genuine Mk1 Gti and they don't come around too often in Australia, especially with the 20v turbo motor.
They are literally rare as rocking horse s#@t. The wipers and indicators are also fixed. (New fuses). The little mis is also sorted so she runs nice and smooth.
The car is sitting at $9600 ATM which is a massive bargain!!
The potential buyer and myself couldn't agree on a sale , so the little GTI is parked in the garage again. Actually feeling very relieved that it didn't sell.
