          Double that 2 for a good job i'd say. Not all panel beaters will want to do a full paint job either, most of them are only interested in insurance jobs. If you do decide to get a full respray, do plenty of research into different places to go, and strip the car yourself to save money and them doing it in a hurry and botching it! Can get more pricey when you start replacing seals/trim etc too, which you'll probably want to, to get it looking minty again.
          Maybe ask on a detailing website who is good for respray...

            Cheers guys. I'll definitely do my research. Low Ks and a full service history is very attractive but I'm currently comparing it to a 1997 Metallic black just like mine with 150 thousand on the clock which isnt too high either. Its got a far better body but needs the timing chain done. Body Vs Mechanics....

              dents = bargain tool.

              offer him much less to compensate.

              sure it just doesnt need a **** hot cut and polish?

              resprays are cheap but if you need to get it straightened with all the dents fixed, itll cost a bomb

                Personally I'd say mechanics are cheaper than body work and unless you pay a fortune for body work you'll notice what's been done. Plus if you get one the same colour as what you have already you'll have heaps of spare panels! Although they probably won't match perfectly.

                      With 80000 ks on it i'd prefer to do it legit haha. Big fan of keeping it original which is obviously hard when you need to do body work. The guy claims hes priced it taking into account the repairs that need to be done which is fair I guess.
