Dont they just install all their stuff from wrecked cars? My mechanic tells me a lot about them O.o And misquote and you end up paying 2k more.

Depends where you get it. Im replacing an auto vr6 gearbox on my golf next week. Ive been quoted around 4k + from camden gti, 7k from a specialist in Gordon and 2k from my local mechanic whose always tells me how it is. **** aint cheap.
