Is it me or is it flat blue. Never seen a GTI in that colour and I'll hazard a guess I have seen more than most folk. Makes me think re-shell.

The bumpers and side trims make it look like an 88/89 car. By its on club reg, which means it has to be over 25 years old?:/
Wheels are not my taste, but looks like the cars is in good nick.. But an 8V for $10,000!!!!!!! He's dreaming!!
I wonder if he has actually been to shows... Anyone remember the car?? there aren't many dark blue mk2 2drs in Vic (except mine)

There was one going around that had a mk1 compliance plate on it. Maybe this is that car? I remember seeing it at DOVW a few years back

He bought it 2 years ago, it was imported from Japan. It is a '89 mk2 (I think a CL)..... BUT it's registered as a mk1, hence the club rego.
He's been to a show gipsland way, and DOVW carabeen gardens.

Either way it's not worth the $8k price tag.

A CL that's had a digi 1.8, A/C and PS swapped in to it? I guess it is missing badges.
I'd consider it for 8 IF eveything worked properly.

You could probably flog those wheel's off to some poor sod on boostcruising and get some money back there...
