I think its a decent price, looks to be in decent condition.
Definitely low kms for the age. On average.

.....aaaaand here it is in 2008 at UQ next to my VR6. I left a visit vwwatercooled.org.au under the windscreen wiper.
Called Garry and referred to rego as taxed... doesn't get any more UK than that.
The Mk2 hasn't changed... the mk3, probably got crushed and sent overseas for sorting/recycling. At least the good bits live on.

In great original condition that, he bought it over in 2000, and has had it since '92, second owner! Dash not cracked, no rust.... tempting, but a bit pricey for an 8V imo.sigpicComment

i still recon it was overpriced.. but maybe the body was really straight, and if no rust whatso ever then it was worth it. good luck to the new owner
