Considering trying to sell my mk3 to get this but I doubt it'll stay for sale long enough for me to do it.

Plus there are some things mine has which this doesn't like rear disc brakes, new chrome bumpers, Mk2 dash etc and I never expected to get that sort of coin.
Spotted this couple months back I sydney great street presence but to be completely honest didn't seem as if it was being looked after... N a female was driving it lol

The girl who owns it takes pretty good care of it actually. Have been in it a couple of times. Goes great.

I think many of us would cry if we tallied up what we spend on our car to what we would expect to get if we sold it. I'm sure my mrs would have kittens if she knew.

I've also heard (not seen it IRL myself) that the engine swap was as 'factory', should have VW actually done a mk 1 16V. So I guess that always helps the 'completeness' of a car.

Looked in much better nick when valver sold it. Looks like it just needs a touch of visual TLC.

South Australia, Tassie, New South Wales.... where too next! I hope it comes to vic!
                  Pretty much sums it up

It's a nice little car. Wheels look like they've not been very well cared for (they're raw polished alloy and needed careful TLC with Autosol every week to maintain the quality).

I think it's a little overpriced, but not too far off. Engine was very strong when I had it. The conversion job was extremely good with all new electrics and great attention to detail. It's not pretty, but it's very reliable and done the right way.

Someone pick it up, otherwise I'll do something stupid and buy it back again

Cheers. It's not actually here yet, I'll be flying up this week to drive it back. One way to acquaint yourself with your new car: Drive it half way across the country
